“Lichtenberg figures” are branching, tree-like patterns that are created by the passage of high voltage electrical discharges along the surface, or through, electrically insulating materials (http://www.capturedlightning.com/frames/lichtenbergs). Professor Lichtenberg first observed this in 1777. We have incorporated this technique into our custom pens giving this three dimensional electrical tree appearance. Such techniques will be available in a variety of materials, currently confined to various wood species. Each pen will be a one of a kind creation that you will find no where else!
